They could make 10 billion dollars if they put them in Thunderdome. I'm not sure if that counts as HRR though. - jmatchett383
By the time Thunderdome is a thing, we'll be measuring HRR in the bitcoins. |

Psh, he's not even on pace to be a 20 goal scorer. And now that he's participated in three NHL seasons, can we really expect him to develop much more? Probably not. - BulliesPhan87

You know what is more exciting. The offense is starting to come from Couturier. 7 pts in the last 7 games. And 9 pts in the last 10. Kid is going to be a hell of a player. - MJL

Its exciting to think what his top end potential could be. As he continues to physically mature you can see what he can be.
There were several times the other night where he physically dominated the game. Think of the first goal. He makes a fantastic read, meets Hillen against the boards and forces the turnover that springs Giroux.
Also remember.. he turned 21 in December. Kid is gonna be a freaking beast. |

Does anyone here think the Rangers are worse with St. Louis than Callahan. I mean in the short term? |

7 pts in 7 games, 9 in 10...good show Mr. Couturier.

Obv, I agree.
I believe he had this kind of production streak only once before, in his rookie year...I don't think it will be another two years before we see it again. |

I am thrilled that the Rangers got smaller, older, and less rugged in that deal. Marty Saint is a good player but he is not as fast as he used to be. |

I still think he's a better player than Callahan though. I wouldn't have given up all those picks for him though. |

I'll admit I was very down on Couturier's offense earlier this season. Very happy to see him turn his game around. He's making real offensive plays and flat out beating opposing players. I feel like Courturier's offensive development is in a great place because he's learned how to play the defensive side of the puck first. |

Marty is more skilled but Callahan has some gritty intangibles.

Yup
they are kind of soft up front, they disrupted team chemistry and to expect Richards and MSL to be the tandem they were in 04 is just wishful thinking. Plus parting with a first and another pick makes them weaker in the long term as well |

I love that the Rangers gave up what they did for MSL. I think overall they're an easier team to play against and are a weaker team in the long term. |

On another note, I can't believe they actually pay Seravalli to write this crap (Warning: you will want the five minutes of your life back after you read this):
http://www.philly.com/phi...for_Vanek_or_Moulson.html - Lexington Flyer
Ugh. Such an idiot. This is why so many fans are dumb. He's lying by omission. Mentions Collberg as having a D rate of success, but doesn't mention his 8.0 potential. He's a high risk, high reward prospect. It would have been the equivalent of giving up Ghost and a 2nd for 19 games of Vanek. Everyone knows Moulson and Vanek are not going to re-sign with those respective teams.
Inferring these guys will put the Flyers over the top is, also, ridiculous. These guys are good players, but they aren't huge difference makers for this team. Getting a scoring winger isn't this team's biggest need. Giving up assets and 2nd round picks for the next 3 seasons isn't a smart thing to do when this team lacks system depth. |

Pretty much what I'd expect from a tool like Seravalli, I pretty much ignore anything written by him or Panaccio |

No doubt. His hitting game is picking up. He knocks people off the puck. And he's adept at using his frame to sheild the puck. And he's probably going to be 20 lbs heavier at some point. |
