Or Teravainen works out.
JJ...you posted that the Blackhawks playoff performance will factor into their decision about acquiring Kesler. Do you know how Teravainen's performance factors in should he play? TT could flop, he could fill the 2C void or anything in between. But for arguments sake if TT does well would that change Stan & Co's mind to trade for Kesler regardless of their playoff performance? - DarthKane
I don´t think even Stan thinks that TT will contribute here right away. As talented he is I don´t think he can make impact this season in NHL. |

Had one last year - Handzus - not an all star, but adequate.
Don't have one this year - unless (by some miracle) Handzus or Regin become "adequate". - StLBravesFan
Zeus will be fine in the playoffs. Rock 'em, sock 'em playoff hockey suits him better. He's saving himself. 2014 Zeus = 2010 Sopel. He's got one more playoff run in him, he'll dig deep when it matters most...I hope. |

our defense is well paid - the two cheapest: rosy at 2mil and leddy 2.7. We can win with a 600k or 1mil man - that should open up some space. I do like OD, and hopefully he will take a contract similar to Nik H. The key will be kane and JT, i hope they don't for ask outrageous contract demands.
i don't care about the #2 center, won two cups without. but i like Kesler and want to keep Kane happy (not in a contract way - take some of Kane contract and give to Kesler). - Topshelf2010
Wasn't it Campoli who dug our grave in the first round with an ill-timed delay of game penalty? |

I believe he coughed up the puck and then Vancity scored....right? Either at his own blue line or in the neutral zone...at least that is the way I thought it went down |

Yeah, flukey turnover though, and he was very solid up to that point. |

Couldn't clear the puck - turned it over inside the blue line to Burrows. |

Yeah I remember him being pretty good....and the Hawks looking much better with him....then he took off to Montreal...and from there believe Europe |

I honestly think this will be the case....not because Zeus can ''FLIP A SWITCH'' during playoff hockey, but because playoff hockey tends to slow the game down a bit, which is obviously more suited for Zeus |

Didn't he get hurt in Montreal? I seem to remember a broken leg, or was that someone else? |

With all due respect, I think if you went to the game last week you would be singing a different tune.
I will no doubt remember that game for the rest of my life - something I can't say for 95% of the regular season and playoff games I have attended indoors over the last several years. It was a great experience for the fans and players alike, and worth every penny IMO.
Edit: Am I the only from this board who went to the game?
I do agree with you that there should only be a select number of outdoor games every year (4 or 5 tops - mix up the locations) to keep it special and interesting. - CBHawks88
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing two outdoor games on January 1st. One in the East, and one in the West with one game played during the the day, and one at night. Something to showcase Hockey as soon as the football season ends.
I also like the Heritage Classic that is played every other year in Canada. They can keep that game too.
This is all it needs to be. The Stadium Series gimmick was a good for this season with last season's lockout in mind, but it shouldn't be done every season. Having an outdoor game a month kind of kills the luster of the gimmick, in my opinion. |

I can't remember anymore....It sounds familiar....I still can't believe the guy can't find a job in the NHL, with some of the pylons trying to play D in this league you'd expect someone would give him at least a min contract |

Not so sure of that, I just seem to remember that he did not play well in Montreal early in the season and rarely saw the ice again.
His stance/interviews regarding the lockout didn't do him any favours with any of the owners. Could call it being blacklisted, so to speak. But that's nothing more than conjecture anyway... |

When Toews scored that goal, I thought it had to be destiny that they'd complete the comeback.
Didn't do anything rash, didn't even start cursing. I just sat staring at the screen watching the replay of that Campoli deep-dish pizza served right on a platter to phucking Burrows.

I "knew" it was over when they didn't score on the power play in the OT. |

I was at a party, well there was a party going on and my buddy and I sat upstairs by ourselves and got fairly intoxicated, so I was prone to making bad decisions That Canucks team was really good, when healthy maybe the best team in the league, and that was the worst Hawks team of this era and they still took them to 7 games. |
