Blues win division face the wildcard Kings in round 1...gone in 5.

As i understand it, i think the Kings will end up playing the Sharks or the Ducks(whoever finishes 2nd in that division) in round 1 as long as they stay in the 3rd spot(or whoever is 3rd if they move up to 2nd, i highly doubt they make a run at winning the division though). Only way for them to slip to the wild card would be for the Yotes to somehow catch them which i really dont see happening. If the Blues do end up winning the Central their most likely 1st round opponents are gonna be the Yotes, the Stars, or the Wild.

Well St. Louis isn't exactly a hockey town, and they have to draw from far flung suburban & rural areas, and the traitors in southern IL.

Don't count on it : Blues are very good this year - Miller will help.

Miller's career PO numbers aren't that great... then again, his defense is a little better now than it was in BUF..

Price for sure. Luongo and Schneider for sure. Bishop is having the best year of any goalie. Bobrovosky just won the Vezina. Howard is as good as Crawford.

Howard - too inconsistent, good year - bad year.

Schneider - another not sure, when I've watched him (several times), he hadn't looked that good.

Forsberg in the AHL? Thought he was a can't miss NHLer as soon as he came over here. Maybe that's a lesson to temper expectations for TT?

I can relate. Used to travel for work. When I moved up here to MI would come back to Chicago which was part of my territory. I did all my stuff on Starwood so would stay at a Westin, W or Sheraton. Whatever cable package they had didn't include Comcast Sports Net which was silly.

Thankfully a friend of mine who lived out by Logan's Sq would extend the invite to come watch the games. Actually, I'd invite myself and thankfully he was a gracious host.

Northern Michigan is actually really nice too. My wife and I were up there last August; checked out Mackinac, Sleeping Bear Dunes, a couple of vineyards and the Leelanau Peninsula. All good. Have been over to Saugatuck, Douglas, Holland and Luddington on the Western side and they're nice too.

MI is actually IL in reverse. Outside of Chicago and the burbs you can have the rest of the state. In MI, if we could somehow amputate Detroit...
