I was thinking today about possible replacements for GMMG if he is let go or steps down at the end of the year. Here are some of the intriguing ones I thought of in no particular order...
1) Jim Benning (Assistant GM Boston)
2) Jason Botterill (Assistant GM Pittsburgh)
I included these two because it seems as though they are popular options at the moment as prospective GMs. Some others I thought would be interesting are...
3) David McNabb (Senior VP of Hockey Ops Anaheim)
4) Martin Madden (Director of Amateur Scouting Anaheim)
5) Julien Brisebois (Assistant GM Tampa Bay Lightning)
6) Norm Maciver (Assistant GM Chicago)
7) Ron Hextall (Assistant GM Philadelphia) - more intrigued by him because of the time he spent in LA under Lombardi. Probably is the eventual successor to Holmgren though.
Curious to see your guys' thoughts or if you have any other people in mind. |

Think it's safe to say #TankNation is secure - AlexF
The way this season is going, something will happen to (frank) up #tanknation as well.
I don't think I have ever seen such a free fall in a team as I have seen this year. |

Way to go Kass, the first real hit you make in months and it's dirty as (frank).
Was wondering why the Sedins started so strong then disappeared, I guess Tortarella's system takes time to corrupt the offense.
If we do indeed ship out Kesler and Edler for youth, is Torts the guy to teach the kids how to play? |

I have confidence in Lack.
For goalies who've played more than 20 games:
sv% .926 (6th in the league)
GAA 2.05 (4th)
SO 3 (T-3rd)
I can see why the decision was made to give him a shot as #1. |
