colorado definitely has a good future ahead of them. and they play hard.
Even with Vets I'm not sold on edmonton pulling it together. Somethings not right there in chemistry - numbear
Having vets like Statsny, Talbot and Parenteau are better than anything the Oilers have to supplement the kids, not to mention they got an actual coach and it made a world of difference. |

Oh I know. Sestito is far from what is killing this team right now. - fiveandagame
Need Kassian to play like Sestito |

For years we needed a third line center and a second line center. Mathias looks like he could fill third line and Horvat can fill second. Trade Kesler for top 6 prospect and pick. Suddenly we re getting closer. - VANTEL
If Kesler is traded for a good young player and a good 1st round draft pick, same with Edler, we're in ok shape my friend. |

Apparently they offered him a deal? I think he'll sign there if they have a bit of a playoff run. |

Somebody should ask Torts if he still has an issue with Luongo's consistency. |

Torts was a bad hire.. I hated at first, was coming around after 20 games, but it's pretty (frank)ing clear he's coached his last season in the nhl. N |

God I hope so, for the Canucks anyways, that's a lot of money to swallow though. |

They had to get rid of AV though. If he stayed I doubt it would be any different

Gillis Booth and Torts is a lot of money to give away.
I bet Giilis stays and Torts is told to change his style. |

The team should look drastically different next year I'm guessing.
Out - Kesler, Booth, Hansen, Higgins, Schroeder and one of our defencemen.

i think canucks win 3-2.
And for some reason I expect bouma and burrows to get into it since burrows seemed to be a bit pissy last game.

Well I bought my dad tickets for christmas for him and I to take a Limo downton and watch this one. I sure as hell is worth my money. Although bonding time with my Paps is never a bad things.
Just hope I feel better in the morning. Been in bed for 2 days straight. And theres no more Crackers left in the house |

how do the flames not have vet players?
If anything the overachieving they did this year shows they kept the right vets. They should have been dead last, but played hard and won some games. - numbear
Indeed, the vets played hard enough to end up second last, behind the perennial bottom feeders that is the Oilers.
Congrats on the success.
Overachieving has it's benefits! |
