I wasn't being literal. I can't see ownership buying out a player contract and firing the coach and/or the Gm all in the off season. That's potentially 10-15 million thrown out the window.

Ya I was listening to some commentary on it, Gillis four years left and Torts four years left, that's a poopload of $$$. I'd rather see JT fired and let Gillis continue with the GM role, he made some strides with the draft last year. Still hate him and want him gone, the lesser of two evils I guess....(frank).

Were not getting Couturier from Flyers. Gaborik is injured half the seasons and doesn't make us younger. Boston were offering us centres in the Edler trade because they are set down the middle for years to come, so they don't need Cassels.
