Try eating only non-processed foods for a week, you'll notice the difference(assuming you're into the whole health thing ). - Nucker101
So true!! I swore off processed & fast food 6 years ago and lost between 70 -80 pounds. Next to quitting smoking the best thing I've done for myself. Still love my weed, vodka & sodas and enjoying several glasses of wine with Mrs. Marwood and now , will hopefully live a little longer doing so ( unless the Canucks give me a freakin' jammer ). |

Hey good things happen in the draft, how do you think Colorado is as good as they are. Not every team is a (frank)up like the Oilers.
Drafted - O'Rielly, Duchene, Landeskog, MacKinnon, Statsny, Tyson Barrie all drafted within the last five years. Except Statsny. - LeftCoaster
I agree, you also look at Chicago and Pittsburgh.
The difference between Colorado, Chicago Pittsburgh compared to Edmonton and NYI is management. Edmonton and NYI are rudderless ships. Colorado, Chicago and Pittsburgh seemed to have a game plan.
Now which list do the Canucks belong on. |

If those gm's really wanted Kesler, they should've stepped up their offer. I'm no Gilles fan, nor do i like the Canucks, but you don't move a Kesler unless you get max value. I'll say Gilles got one right.
Chiarelli for one has gotten enough bargains.

You're taking this out of context. The question (to Tortarella) was had the players quit, and his answer was that based on the people in the room he didn't think that was the case. - 1970vintage
Their record and total lack of effort might suggest otherwise. |

We don't know what the offers for Kelser really were. All I know is that there seemed to be a couple of GM's that were pretty upset on how it all went down. I don't think Gillis made any friends on Wednesday. |

Yup - people would have been laughing their asses off if we'd of got Brandon Sutter and a couple of LATE picks for Kesler. He brings a good return or you keep him, simple as that. |

Meh, if Kesler was "your man", then you put together an offer that can't be refused. |

I just wonder how much validation there is to the Aquillini meddling rumors. I wonder if Gillis had an offer or 2 in front of him that were good enough and Gillis wanted to pull the trigger and Aquilllini said no. |

I agree with that. It would be different if he was expiring, but you guys have him for 2 more seasons. As for Snow whining about Vanek....Didn't Vanek turn down their offer a month ago? The second he turned down the offer he should've been shopped and moved. And jesus, in the age of cell phones and having multiple gm teams, those two other teams whining that Gilles stalled them, they have it so (frank)ing easy, how hard is it to explore negotiations with multiple suitors? It's called a (frank)ing backup plan. GMs in the 90s and early 00's with dialup internet and phones that weren't smart phones still managed to get poop done. GM's today I tell ya, a bunch of f'n babies. |

Think he's just making excuses now for his incompetence. Snow is a joke and the only reason he remains employed is because Charles Wang is an even larger one.
If they weren't in NYC I think Tavares would have asked for a trade already. Still might... |
