Bandwagon jumpers wouldn't be here discussing how to fix this team and rightthe ship. They would be long gone, cheering for the Pens or whoever else "might" win the cup.

Most of the guys here are Canucks fans through and through, but they also know when there are problems that need addressing.

I personally would appreciate some of the posters here to manage the club, as they seem to have more insight and knowledge of analyzing players, development and value.

Unfortunately, the Sedins are an impossible sale. Which "contender" has $14 mill of cap space for THAT package deal? Even if there was a suitor (team that wanted them/they'd waive for), how would we get a young return on top of the necessary cap exchange? Impossible trade.

He has got to get rid of that core and even deeper, Garrison , Hamhuis keep Bieksa for two more years and get rid of the twins Burrows Kesler Higgins and Edler.

If we want to play semantics, it's not a retool because Matthias and Markstrom don't qualify. It's not a rebuild because we haven't traded for anyone significant and one draft class won't be enough to constitute a full roster overhaul. What we're witnessing is a sudden collapse.

Well Hammond, things are not so peachy in Canuck world. So many rumours, so much speculation and things seem to be piling up. However, the hemmoraging will end one way or another. Who knows when?

Life on the island is grand, the bulbs are coming out and soon we will be sitting in the garden not watching hockey and enjoying adult beverages while making the neighbours listen to My Morning Jacket with us. Camping trips planned and family visits anticipated. So, other than the Canucks sucking goat balls, things are pretty sweet.

Ouch. I know it been a rough year for them but you hate to see a defeatist attitude when they aren't really out of it. Yea it's it close to being out of the picture I guess but not that bad. It seems t have been a bad luck and some questionable things happening around management.

A completely soulless team entirely void of any passion or heart. A fan base that ranges from apathetic to utter hysteria, and local media made up of hack journalists, attempted comedians and angry old men.

It will change. How soon and how long it takes, remains to be seen. Until then, good humour, a variety of 'soft' gateway-drugs and a well stocked bar makes most things tolerable at worst.
