On that play, we had (I believe) Simmonds wheel around and fling the puck on net. It hits a Leaf skate and just lays there in the crease before it gets swiped out.

7/10 times that deflects off the Dman's skate into the net.

10/10 times if it's the Flyers.

majority of their odd man rushes end without a shot attempt because they try that one last pass, or shoot it high

Its almost like they never practice it. I thought they did stuff like that at practice every day.

Anyone see the leafs players screaming for their guy during the fight? Fighting absolutely has a place in this league....even the staged ones.
