its a pretty terrible man to man execution. they like to stand 5ft from guys and give them so much space. they lose their man a lot like that and if the puck makes its way through the other team gets a wide open chance.

I also hate how they sag the weakside winger to about the mid slot area allowing the other teams Dman on that side to move about freely. when the puck comes out to that side of the ice quickly the other team always has an easy keep on or uncontested shot since the winger has zero shot to get out to the point.

Rather give up the point on the weak side, then to leave the slot open. Flyers were much better taking away the neutral zone in that period and taking away free ice from the Leafs.

Basically, yes. It's not that exact wording, but a giveaway is when a player's own actions directly lead to the opposing team possessing the puck
