Sounds like Gilly is back... Why else let a guy on his way out communicate directly with the season ticket holders. Torts may be the fall guy here... They need to let Gilman handle all the media. He doesn't come across as a pompous ass. Let Gillis stay at President and have someone else as the GM even if Gillis's actual role doesn't change.

Torts and Sullivan getting let go after one just season(should it happen) with Gillis being retained tells me that Aquilini is admitting his (frank) up and will likely let Gillis hire the new coach. There's too much smoke out there about Torts being FA's guy for there not to be some truth behind it IMO. So it would be pretty surprising for me to see, but I honestly believe that if it's either Gillis or Torts/Sullivan that the coaches being canned gives us more hope about who really is in charge instead of it being the other way around with MG getting fired and Torts staying.

All of this is obviously speculation, but I fully expect someone to be gone if/once the team misses the playoffs.
