What? Torontonian's don't have a negative view towards BC at all. Having spent a good chunk of time in both cities, I can assure you that it is significantly more in the other direction.

My experience from having lived 10 plus years in Toronto (actual Toronto, not just suburbs like Markham or Brampton or Mississausage), that many peeps there express a decidedly negative/ condescending attitude towards BC.

I won't argue that peeps in BC dislike Toronto more, but that's largely from the Federal Gov't favouring Ontario and especially Toronto with tax dollars on a per capita basis versus BC. Not to mention the fact that the Feds have screwed over the West and BC on economic issues since confederation in favour of Eastern Canada (Ontario and Quebec)... and let's not forget the Eastern bias of the propaganda machine called the CBC which force feeds Canadians Toronto games every week , this despite the Habs being the most popular team in the country outside of its home market (Angus Reid survey from 2011), basically it is the most popular team in English Canada outside of the Toronto market of all the Canadian teams.
