You know I was thinking about this the other day. Snow is terrible we all know that but the Sabres traded Miller,Vanek,Ott,Moulson & Halak and all they got back were mostly picks. I know they got some prospects back but are any of them considered can't miss? Not being a dack because I know we have snow but wouldn't you think they would get a hell of a lot more back then just picks and B-level prospects? Again I could be wrong with the prospects but I would like to hear some sabres fan on this. I know before the deadline they had Moulson pegged for a 1st and top prospect but only got a couple of 2nd's and a journey men. I know they got Stewart back in the miller deal but he isn't anything special IMO. Just curious that's all

Wow. Nice story. Always thought Tavares was a bit of a dink, but this is very nice to hear and went up in my books. Good on him! Hopefully Winnipeg finds the fans who harassed a kid and take away ticket privileges for awhile. Nothing wrong with a little fun banter with a young fan, but of course there is a limit. I am hearing if the Islander lose enough or win the lottery they are going to let Buffalo have the pick. Snow thinks it will be pretty cool for Buffalo to have the first and second pick this year.

Yeah they have tons of picks. I wasn't bashing them I would just think trading Miller & Vanek would have gotten you at least 1 can't miss prospect who is close to NHL ready instead of waiting 3-5 years for these picks to develop if they ever do which I'm sure some will

Every Winnipegger I talked to is pissed about this episode. It does not represent 99.9 % of the fans. I have been to lots of games and have seen first hand the people (especially kids) who were wearing opposition jerseys being treated just fine.

Please don't let the actions of a couple of A-holes (because they exist in every city) sour the opinion of real jets fans.

I've actually done just that a few times when the harassment goes overboard. If I ever saw it being done to a fan that was a kid of a visiting team I'd probably take it a step further.
