Yeah, but he was back after that. He hasn't posted in our boards in over a day. He's either banned or deathly ill. - JimmyP
The Rangers lost yesterday they're all ready to jump off the cliff again. If they win the next game he'll be on here. |

I've actually done just that a few times when the harassment goes overboard. If I ever saw it being done to a fan that was a kid of a visiting team I'd probably take it a step further. - Cptmjl
Me too. Kids are off limits - leave them alone. |

And this is one of the many reasons Winnipeg is the armpit of Canada.
Stay classy. Wait til your team threatens to move (again) in another 10 years...I'm sure you'll be begging to see that kid in the crowd. Paying his money (or parents money). - BodyCheckRadio

I don't see how it can be much different than a Oiler Flame game. - SpoiledByOil
Through hockey friends, I was once a guest of Glen Sather's for an Isles vs. Ranger game back when he first became their GM. His wife was sitting right behind us and I was introduced to her. Super nice lady. I was speaking with her about the Cup years & playoffs with the Isles. She said the Islander fans were super passionate and the Coliseum was the loudest arena she'd ever been in. I started to apologize in advance for some of the language we would no doubt hear around us(even in great/expensive seats) and she just looked at me and said, "Oh, I've never heard ANYTHING like what comes out of the mouths' of these(Ranger) fans." We shared a laugh. Tho I am sure, you can find equally horrible things being said at ANY sporting event. But I still consider Philly fans(all teams), by far, the absolute rudest group walking the planet. I mean, what other city/team has a JAIL built into their arena.... |

You're the biggest Ranger troll in our thread. Your posts will never be taken seriously your posts aren't even taken seriously in your own thread for God's sake. You've never offered anything of substance to our thread save for an insulting bordering on mentally challenged troll attempt and then you leave. He plays ice hockey and loves the game? He's three right? I don't think anyone would be rude informing you bringing a three yr old to an Isles Rangers game is perhaps not the brightest idea. I think the problem starts there bud. Again I'll call BS on this and just another one of your lame a$$ trolling attempts. Anything to throw insult at the Islanders right? Just look at your location for proof. . As far as your Shirley/Mastic comment you'd be shocked to know there are more Ranger fans in suffolk than Nassau. - Cptmjl
I don't know the other guy but wow do you sound bitter. The NHL is for everyone even 3 year olds. |

If you don't know don't make an ignorant comment. The guy who cpt is replying to post in our blogs regularly trolling the Isles and their fans. Look at his location for example. |

Ignorant? No need to get sensitive because I was making an observation not based on emotions. The other guy...very emotional. You...also very emotional. |

I have to give a huge thank you to John Tavares for reaching out to my son Jake. The generosity is appreciated but even more so I appreciate the thought and personal effort. Jake will be wearing his #91 jersey with even greater pride now and for good reason…turns out his hockey hero is a true life hero! |

You know I was thinking about this the other day. Snow is terrible we all know that but the Sabres traded Miller,Vanek,Ott,Moulson & Halak and all they got back were mostly picks. I know they got some prospects back but are any of them considered can't miss? Not being a dack because I know we have snow but wouldn't you think they would get a hell of a lot more back then just picks and B-level prospects? Again I could be wrong with the prospects but I would like to hear some sabres fan on this. I know before the deadline they had Moulson pegged for a 1st and top prospect but only got a couple of 2nd's and a journey men. I know they got Stewart back in the miller deal but he isn't anything special IMO. Just curious that's all - Vukota
First no joke, I don't read the isles comment section so I was asking honestly, since the only thing I read made it seem snow would give us the pick this year.
Second, I think many sabres fans didn't have a realistic clue on what the rentals were going to get. I laughed at many when they said a top prospect and a first for moulson. Our deals boiled down as;
Ott for a 2015 first, which I love the trade.
Miller for carrier, Stewart, halak a 3rd and a conditional first ( that would send minnys second and our 3rd if said conditions are met), this was much more than I thought we we would get, I honestly thought we would get halak and a 2nd for miller.
Vanek, we'll you know this one, amazing trade
Moulson for two 2nds, this is the only one I was disappointed with since I thought he was gonna get a 1st(no prospect with it though), in hindsight when you look at what Vanek, gabby, hemsky and others went for, I am not that upset with the return.
The halak deal was just a way to get cap on the team next year since we need to spend a lot to get to floor. |

Not emotional at all. The guy is a tool who trolls our thread every couple of days. There are some good Ranger fans who can have a friendly back and forth with us and we can with them. He's not one of them. I understand you don't know the interaction on this thread but that post was merely to troll. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have a kid and that story was 100% completely fabricated just to troll. Again, he has never not once written anything constructive on our thread. Not once.
As far as me saying what i did about bringing a three yr old to an Islander Ranger game anyone of us whether it be an Isles fan or Ranger fan will tell you it's nuts. I'm not trying to tell someone how to parent their children but bringing a 3 yr old to a hockey game is fine. Bringing a 3 yr old to a game where there are people beating the shat out of each other everywhere is out of my realm of thinking. If you guys haven't been to one you wouldn't understand. It has calmed down a little bit over the years but it's still an extremely nutty thing to do. The last one I went to before the stadium game(which was pretty calm probably due to it being 5 degrees)there were no less then five brawls in my section. Full out security getting hit, people thrown out, etc...
It was actually a brilliant troll from him bcs look what happened. His are usually so bad none of us respond. |

Again, read. An Islander Ranger game is not like going to any other hockey game. I'd bring my kid to a hockey game but I would never bring him to an Isles/Ranger game unless he was older. You have zero concept of what the games are like. Last year my friends girlfriend got shoved down the stairs at the garden by a Ranger fan and required surgery for the injury she had. Does that sound like an event you bring your three yr old too? Maybe you not me bud. There are bad apples in every fanbase including the Islanders. Those games bring out every bad apple from both fan bases and even the good fans lose their shat during those games. You guys have no concept of what those games are like. |

I gotcha. I'm sorry must have gotten you confused with someone else. I think it'd depend on where we are after the lottery and who Snow has in mind as a possible pick? We've been asked this question countless times since the trade by Sabres fans hence the joke. |

Yea I would venture several of us have been here
The worst part is not knowing, right now, looking at prospects(which I do a lot for my dynasty leagues) we don't know if we will have 1 first, two or 3, it's quite the variance. |

Growing up they were my fav games of the season, I would never miss them, as I have gotten older thou... I have no desire to goto an Isles/rag game the BS overshadows the game itself.
