As much as Linden would be awesome, I just think he's too busy with his businesses of his gym, real estate and whatever else he's doing. A good fit with the organization would be the steamer. He's around the organization forever, coached in Manitoba and *i think* Syracuse, and is a fixture of the Canucks. It's time for change!!

I'm with Bieksa, going down with the ship. Not as emotional as some saying they are done after x amount of years etc. I got nothing else going on, I'm in. I watched all of the Dallas game. I'll ride this til the wheels fall off.

Excited for change even if that means I suffer through mediocrity.

Let Gulutzan take over the coaching and bring in a GM with NHL managerial experience. Tell the owner to worry about the business side of things and let the hockey people do the hockey side.

Will you still care next year if Gillis and Tortorella are still at the helm?

I think we'll all care, but it will be that much more frustrating.

So much of the poop we hear these days is such bs that I almost don't believe anything. The rumours that get picked up and take a life of their own are ridiculous. Fans feed off of it and it gets old. I would believe Friedmans view over Ek's veiw though. lol.

Seems a lot of this world has lost all common sense these days.

I do.

I'd be more than happy with Gillis and Torts sticking around. Let the epic train-wreck continue!!!

I follow Linden on twitter and he never mentions hockey. Like you said, he talks about his gym, cycling, and hiking.

Exactly. Can't quit on this team now. This franchise has seen a lot dark times like this before. This is why if the Canucks ever win a cup in my lifetime it will be that much sweeter.

According to Friedman...
3. It is believed the six teams to which Kesler would accept a deal at the deadline were Anaheim, Chicago, Colorado, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay. Only two -- the Ducks and Penguins -- were really in it, though.

You still have hope for O'Reilly

1st overall baby!!! Just don't sell off totally so we don't end up like Edm. With Torts at the helm we have a solid chance at 1st overall with the same team.

So Torts was brought in to guide the team through a rebuild? He's your Tambellini?
