None of this makes any sense at all.

Bernier is 23rd in GAA. Isn't that convenient you ignore the one true stat that shows how well a goalie is doing at his job, to not let the puck in the (frank)ing net.
- Scooby_Doo

Well either the Leafs are really good, or Bernier is really good. Its one or the other and I think Bernier is very good and the Leafs as a team are not.

23rd is reflective of how many attempts the defense lets him see, the high save percentage is reflective of him being a (frank)ing boss....

Five team in the Central in the playoffs and only three from the Pacific, not what was predicted at the beginning of the year.

Watching this TOR-LA game; I just realized another MG blunder.

How nice would it have been to have had Willie Mitchell still on the Canucks for the 2011 SCF?

Solid defender. Gillis gambled that he'd never truly be over his concussion. He gambled wrong. Willie had the last laugh.

It did take him a long time to come back but, yes, he was fairly ecstatic when it was his turn to pick up the cup almost the same level of excitement that Vantel gets after mainlining Geritol

I thought he was snorting cocaine, Viagra and black tar heroin? How else can he deal with all his Filipino girlfriends at once?

Another one of AV's whipping boys.

I remember when Willie stopped playing to let the broken vertebra in his neck to heal and AV claimed it was just about pain threshold, the injury wont worsen from playing.... some players can play through pain, and some cant. Willie snapped back through the media that he'd rather listen to his doctor who disagrees and with all respect, AV isnt trying to coach with a broken neck.

Danny had the same line from AV about his broken foot and replied exactly the same way saying he's not the one trying to play with a broken foot.

If you play it right, one occupies the other and you can get some piece and quiet til you feel like reaching for the little blue pills and go long time.

I think the sedins need to be the second line next year so I just don't see the value in the sedins sticking around if we are rebuilding, have torts as a coach, and don't even have a scoring second line.

I think GMMG will be full on desperate at the draft and have crazy all over his face. He will defend torts system at the cost of anyone and pull off a big mediocre. Nonis would do the deal so would Burke I bet or NYR.

I would still like the stall bros for sedin bros (and then of course Edler getting the axe to wherever since he creamed big stall's knee

You can't just arbitrarily say they're now the second line, Mike Gillis needs to acquire some players that will actually push them to the second line. Until that happens, they're still the best offensive players on the team.

Now who is going to be dumb enough to pay him the the big money? Nonis, Snow, or whoever replaces Feaster?

Side note: Luongo and Schneider play against each other tonight

Kelser with a sprained knee, out a couple of weeks.

At least #tanknation is going well.

Management is just keeping him out in hopes we lose a few games - they're onboard with Nucker's "tanknation"
