The funniest thing is watching a kid walk into a place he or she is meeting people. If no one is there, they immediately reach for their phone. Its become such an insecurity thing. Its like "I don't want people to think I'm here alone, so I need to show everyone that I have friends on my phone!"

I agree completely. I'm 23 and I despise this about our generation. Its extremely rude. I immediately start to get boiling angry if my girlfriend or friend use their phones in front of me. Its gotten to the point where I've taken someone's phone and either thrown it it smacked it out of their hands.
