(frank)ing loved it. im obviously pissy about this game and hate that you guys are practically raping a rotting carcass of a team, but i can still tip my cap when its due. obviously the read ripper was awesome, but the work by coots to set it up was just as impressive. - stayinthefnnet
Haha. It was quite impressive. What is Kunitz out with? I thought he was going to play this one. Anyways I also find it impressive that coots seems really step up his game against pittsburgh. Not just defensively but also offensively. I hope to see that more often. |

he basically stamkosed his leg into the goalpost the other day. im guessing something with that. but yeah. this team is straight up skeletal right now. |

We never ever seem to win at home vs you guys.. I was at the game last year that we were winning 3-1 after 1 period and Fleury was brutal.. switched tenders..flyers topped skating and boom... regulation loss 4-3.. it took me a week to get over that mess. |

i wouldnt be. pens have already packed in it. this is so dumb from both the perspective of both teams. id be upset as a fan.
for the pens, its obvious. sometimes the team just seems so disinterested in doing anything that resembles hard work.
for the flyers, if they actually skated like this every game and got up for it like they do right now, the playoffs wouldnt even be in question. this is what i mean when i say you guys do have a very talented team.
at least you guys get up for this rivalry. the flyers are skating circles around them. - stayinthefnnet
Stay positive, we haven't had our traditional "bad period" yet. Although I am cautiously optimistic that we'll be able to keep this up. |

no, in all honesty, the pens really shouldnt win. no letang, no martin, no neal, no kunitz. theyre so outgunned its ridiculous. but still. the guys that are out there shouldnt just be like welp, im gonna just attempt a few stretch passes and call it a day. - stayinthefnnet
I agree, they shouldn't, but we've all seen too often where the injured team steps up to play a solid game.
Whenever you have Crosby and Malkin in the lineup, and both are up on their skates, you're in the game. The Flyers need to stay out of the penalty box and keep the puck deep in the Pen's zone to give them their best chance. |

it seems like the teams win on the road against each other. i just dont see it happening. the only chance the pens had was a tight 2-1 type game. they dont have the firepower to pop in a quick 3 or 4 with this team right now. the only good thing about this right now is seeing maatta and despres rush up the ice a little. |

my positive takeaway is that im really not going to read into this game too much. if this is the lineup the pens are forced to ice in the playoffs, it doesnt matter who they play anyway. |

i hope not. i want the capitals to get in. for some reason, the pens play them like you guys play the flyers. |

The Power Play gives the Pens an opportunity to create time and space for Crosby and Malkin.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Bylsma put Crosby and Malkin together in any favorable situations. An offensive zone face-off or icing by any line other than Couturiers. |

its hard for me to say no to that because i havent gotten a ton of exposure to pouliot's game.
if the best word i have to go on is the company koolaid, im going to have to pass at this moment because of how ridiculously high they are on him. |

At least they have each other though. They can use Maata on top unit too. That gives them Malkin, Crosby, Niskanen, Maata, scrub. Still some talent out there. |

Giroux will shake his hand when he's slashed. Crosby just leaped in the air and fell down |
