The flyers don't deserve a whole heck of a lot of credit. It was a good 4 pts against a decimated team in a comfortable position. time to Move on good job - Just5
didn't they win like 8 in a row recently? i think the flyers did what they had to do. |

I thought the Flyers dominated today for the most part. They out chanced the Pens by at least a 2:1 margin. Fleury and Zatkoff were both very good. Game could have been over after the first period if not for Fleury making numerous strong saves.
I feel the 1 goal differential was misleading. |

Yeah so apparently Drouin put an 8 spot up in his season finale?
Something like 105 pts in 48 games? Scored 36 points in his final 13 games of the season...
Like what? Why did he get sent back down again? |

Tampa has a deep forward group and he needed to add some muscle. Drouin and Ehlers together are dynamic.
Edit: Ehlers recently had a steak of 3 straight games with hat tricks. They put up video game numbers. |

Yeah that was just like 2 weeks ago or something. I hadn't realized those 2 were on the same team/line.

i thought it could have easily been 5-0 in the first the flyers were that dominant; after that i thought it was pretty even as far as chances. both pens goalies made some big saves |

i think we all knew they would come hard in the second. you could see both of those screened point shot goals coming from a mile away. the flyers wavered but they didn't cave. i am as happy as a pig in poop as my momma used to say. |

It was, but the Flyers di take their foot off the gas a bit after getting up 3-0. Granted the Penguins played much better today than yesterday, but if the Flyers kept buzzing like they did for the first 17 minutes this game could have been a laugher |

Thank Jeebus for Niemi and the lack of a good camera angle for the war room to overturn that no goal call |

I thought it got a little more even as the game progressed. I still feel the Flyers outplayed them by a significant margin. Part of it was the Flyers getting 3 PPs in the first and none the rest of the game while the Pens got none in the first and 4 for the rest of the game. |

The lack of PPs was a factor, but I do feel the Flyers let off the gas a bit. |

Flyers could recall Akeson and McGinn to play in the top 6. Certainly better options than Glass and Adams. - PhillySportsGuy
Glass and Adams are established NHL players. Akeson and McGinn are not. Those two could just as easily come up and not play effectively.
