haha but thats fine. through raffl onto the pyre as well.
so no jake, simmonds, read, raffl, coburn, and timonen.
man, imagine. we could have a game in which rosehill and glass go snailing around in the corners as top 6 competitors. |

been over this one a lot in here. phillies: i mean i dont have a rational answer for it other than why are you guys the fans of whoever you follow. ive lived in philadelphia my whole life, as a little kid, you love baseball. they were the team i watched. they were the team you went to see. i was too young to appreciate anything of the 93 run, but i dont know. even though they were never good they were just baseball.
pens, i respected mario the most of anything, and absolutely loved jagr. thought he was the most bad ass thing around. never liked lindros as a kid. thought he was a stuck up priss. then as i got to actually know and appreciate the game more, i always liked the finesse side more as opposed to the throngs of people championing the "bullies" mentality. - stayinthefnnet
Yea. I don't get it. The guy I work with grew up in the 70's. He has family from pittsburgh. So naturally he's a steelers and flyers fan.
People like to have their cake and eat it I guess

Edit: I think Read Simmonds and Voracek are all top 6 forwards whereas Bennett is not. - PhillySportsGuy
You know damn well that they'd dress Rosehill over McGinn.
Also, the injuries (that I heard comparisons to) were Kunitz, Neal, and Dupuis. Bennett wasn't even in the discussion I thought, so that would take another guy out.
Edit: Nevermind, leight |

so in forward ranks, it would be comparable to say voracek, simmonds, and read. and on the back end, coburn and your choice of timonen or now amac. - stayinthefnnet
We're down Pronger. That's about even on defense since letang doesn't really matter

haha i dont know about that. i mean, if i was looking to have my cake and eat it to i couldve certainly picked a better pair of teams. over my lifetime, theyve both been largely pretty crappy. the phils have just always had the benefit of just being tradition and youth and summer and just everything. the pens, even when they were ass they usually had one star that made them worth following. |

Would never happen. They'd call up guys like Cousins, Straka, Akeson and McGinn before letting Rosehill skate with Giroux. |

I know
I bet they'd use the excuse of depth injuries to call up a player from Juniors. We'd all assume its Laughton, but they call up Z2. |

The Flyers are of the belief that every line needs someone who will take an undisciplined penalty. If we can fit 2 of those guys on a line, better. |

Was disappointed that Niskanen only had 1. If he had 2, it'd be written in stone that he'd be a Flyer next yr |

nah. its not that at all. the refs are just extremely biased against you guys. always have been.
the real strategy for success? we need guys that are going to be able to dump it in the corners, but lack the speed to actually go get it. the whole dump and chase thing is overrated. its much better of simply being left at "dump". add in the occasional mashing of feet along the boards and what more could you need? |

i cant speak for too many of them. my interaction with many of them is fairly limited haha. hell, im not even sure how i feel about bylsma. i really do think he has many great qualities, that make him a good coach. i just more and more am of the mindset that he isnt a good coach for THIS team.
im much more sold on shero than i am DB. |
