I wonder about you dude ?
You feel the need to swear every third post , you have a carton avatar and a name Whipper that is probably short for a name Whipper Snapper that your father probably nicknamed you.
I think you either suffer Tourette's Syndrome ,or are borderline retarded or just totally (frank)ed on abuse of drugs and alcohol. Maybe you can enlighten us so we know what level of disorder we are dealing with. |

I think they've got 2 or 3 regulars but one look at that scoreline was enough to give them the night off. |

Careful Yeti, it is widely known that Scoob is a huge fan of The Dutch Rudder. Don't be surprised if he tries to get it going while you're hugging it out.
You've been warned. |

Not going to lie but i had just about written Jensen off.
The last few games he has been outstanding, his offensive zone positioning is a thing of beauty as he is generally always open and waiting for a one timer right in front of the net. He should get stronger working the puck in the corners but his defensive coverage is better then expected.
I seem to remember one pundit claiming he has the potential to be nothing more then a Andre Kostitsyn type but i believe he can become a solid 2nd line winger. |

Had to post this in this thread, just because the typo is too funny. As per TSN:
The Canucks are hoping to string together back-to-back victories when they hose the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday night and a win tonight would give the club its first winning streak since consecutive triumphs on Jan. 18 and 21. |

McNab is #1 on my list. IMO he'd be a string hire just like Nill in Dallas and the Finnish guy/Davidson in CBJ. Guys who can recognize talent to build up assets.
I don't hate Gillis though. I also think it's likely better if he's around for this draft, he knows which scouts to trust over the years. Unless you bring in a guy like McNab who's already in a FO position with the Ducks currently and knows the draft prospects well.
Torts has to go IMO. - Nucker101
McNab would be my first choice for GM but realistically he has been 14 years with the Ducks. It would be very unlikely that he would move north to our rainy city for any amount of money.

It's a chance at a GM role, which is something he's never had before. That said, maybe it's something he never wanted to have. |

I can't say I wrote him off myself given that I don't like doing that until I've seen the player getting some game time in the NHL, but I will admit (and agree) that I was beginning to forget about him when looking at our future roster.
It's only been 2 games and the hallmark of a career top 6er at the NHL level is not just strong performances but consistent strong performances. An 82 game schedule (+ playoffs, just maybe) is a huge workload.
That said he's clearly shown the skill. It's equally clear that he needs to be with skilled linemates or all that deft positioning will go to waste. |
