Bernier's numbers are where Reimer's were last year. Reimer is where Scrivens was.

I honestly think the difference is exclusively based on playing time. Reimer (and Scrivens) seem to the types of goalies who need playing time and shots. It takes a rare kind of goalie to excel in a purely backup role.

I still think Carlyle botched the situation earlier in the year (especially December) with the whole yo-yo routine in net. For the good of the club, both guys need to be a the peak of their game. You cannot criticize a goalie's shakiness when he never gets into games.

To Carlyle's benefit, he kept Reimer in there yesterday at 3-0. You've got to let him play through it instead of having him rot on the bench.

I used to work at the TTC Wilson garage bus depot, our lunch room has a big screen tv with Bell Satelite. Every time it would rain hard, even in the summer, we'd lose the picture.

As far as my new Samsung, when I talk to people, they complain they can't hear me. My previous smartphone never had these problems. I mean I love the games on my new Samsung but the reception is inconsistent.

The defense has been a virtual wash. Arguably the only significant changes made from last year have been upgrades (Rielly, Gleason).

Reimer was a benefactor of regular playing time allowing him to settle into a rhythm. I know we all love Bernier, but let's not white-wash history here.

I still maintain that the Bernier trade, while not a bad one, was perhaps the least essential one we could have possibly made.

I thought so too, but the glass jar Nutella has recently appeared in my grocery store. I totally respect that they don't put any logos or anything on the jar. When you are done, it's just a glass. But in your mind you know 'that's the Nutella jar', and you always think of it that way. It's kind of cool they just give you a container you can use for a glass.

Not sure what it means but:

Shots against with Bernier 34.9
Shots against with Reimer 37.1

I'm guessing that's a couple extra rebounds. When I watch I can't help but feel the scrambles are much more scramblier when Reimer's in net. Bernier seems to be more settling and predictable. Reimer's more unorthodox and makes the saves but long term I think Bernier gives them a better chance.
