He needs to be there AND stay on his damn feet.

We have to hope so.

But Reimer is not Bernier!

- Fakepartofme

We pretty much just need .500 hockey the rest of the way to make the playoffs, and when has Reimer not been over .500 as a Leaf? Answer is never.

Your reply will be of course, there's always a first time.

saw a graphic the other day during the game..... Leafs with 7th most PP goals for, 24th most opportunities.

That was not the penalty call, it happened when the puck was cleared down the ice, Phaneuf hacked the Cap player by the faceoff dot, the play was blown dead once he touched the puck when he hit Ovi, when the play went back into the Leafs zone, it was not on the Ovi play.

I have to take your word for it. I didn't see that....

regardless of our goalie...we can't slip now...lose 2 or 3 in a row and I think we will be done.

Hmmmmm, I changed my mind, don't trade Percy. He's got better numbers than Frankie Corrado Finn's having a great OHL season.

I like our d prospects.

some teams have a couple games in hand...I know what the stats say...but have you watched this team the last couple years and how they can throw a losing streak together

Reimer did as good or better stats wise last year... So there really is no issue as it relates to reimer being able to carry the load for a stretch if need be.

At least they haven't been on a win streak. That's when they pull the "we earned a vaction" card and lose whole bunch in a row.

Leafs go .500 the teams chasing pretty much have to do over/close to .700

Columbus just can't seem to lose a game these days....

And Detroit.... these guys somehow always find a way....

Philly is also back into shape...

It's not such a long fall really.

No that's not my answer.
But in November he was under .500...December he was .500 and far in March he is 1 win and 3 losses...although I dont remember him having 4 starts.

Besides, I dont want to "just" make the playoffs in the 7th or 8th....top 4/5 would having been good and attainable with Bernier. Now....maybe not.
Im sure we'll make the playoffs....but squeaking in at 7th or 8th...doesnt really help this team.

I understand the Clarkson hate, but as Mike said, he did set an effective screen for Dion. He almost scored and took a shot from Reilly off the leg that could've just as easily bounced in rather than away. Now I'm not drinking the Koolaid but I thought he had one of his best games as a leaf, which would'nt be hard given his play so far.

If Montreal and Tampa keep pace...tampa has two games on us...they could jump us and drop us to 7th.

Again, just making the playoffs should no longer be the goal.

Paul Hendrick ‏@HennyTweets now
David bolland wears 4th line green today. Scottish heritage ...he can use a little Irish luck today. #TMLtalk

why do they keep practicing him on a line if hes not ready?

- burn

My guess is that its related to the cap
They practice him but say he "isnt ready" but will bring him back when they can fit him under the cap and then for the playoffs

Because Reimer is not as good as Bernier.
