I think Hagg is changing teams.

He is. Almost definitely going to leave Modo for Brynäs.

Do you have any idea where they'll slot him? Top 4? Top 6? Undecided?

Solid. Playing 7th defenseman may not have been the best thing for his development. I'm glad his going to get a more steady dose of minutes.

it's a lot

at 5.2 the flyers may walk away from amac

so bye bye draft picks

- Marc D

I don't get why 5.2 is so bad if you are perfectly ok with 4.5. What is 700k?

To be fair, though, he played his way down the lineup in the first half of the season. Actually started season on top pairing at even strength along with Richie Regehr and was getting 17-18 mins per game. Ice time got cut as season went along, but at least he stayed in the lineup.

The one thing the Flyers have going for them is that he is currently only making 500K. Which could hold down the Cap hit. Anything under 5 would be a steal for the Flyers.

I agree 100%. I will be very happy with 4 - 4.75 type money for him.

Finished slightly higher in regular season and went further in postseason. They are in trouble in their QF series, though, trailing 2-0 in games.

I hate when we play Chicago, seeing 40 highlights of the weakest Stanley cup winning goal in a row is just depressing

Don't see Kimmo taking much less than he makes now unless he just wants to give the team a better chance to win.

The guy is still a 2/3 defenseman. Those guys make $6M

I agree.. Normally when Homer gets a guy like this, and says he wants to re sign him, he gets it done.. piece by piece building the D back up..No home run #1 guy yet, but if he is ever able to swing that, we're in business..

Honestly, I was worried early in the year, but now I hope he comes back for another year.

Flyers schedule is really tough right now, but one underrated aspect is having many of these games at home. Having second change will be huge when you have a good defensive center like Couts. Blues and Blackhawks have great depth, but getting him out against guys like Kane, Toews, Seguin, Steen is huge.
