Outshot the Hawks 14-7, had 2 powerplays including a brief 5-on-3 and are only tied. |

Very happy with the response of the team after a horrible start. Emery is still gonna have to keep it together.. - Hextall271
Yeah. Even though Couts is a great defender, the line of Sharp-Toews-Hossa looks real good tonight (as they usually do). Emery is in the game now. Clean slate. |

The line of Couts-G-Read plays well together. I know Berube likes putting them together for late period defensive zone face-offs. - PhillySportsGuy

Id like to see him shoot more. He has a great shot. Just get it on net. Raanta doesn't look especially sharp. - PhillySportsGuy
If they can just avoid the turnovers, and as someone else put it play to their strength (strong simple forecheck), they have a solid chance.
Both goalies are looking shaky. Hawks look to be getting a little frustrated, would love to see Rinaldo/Downie cause some havoc. |

First 3 minutes the Flyers didn't touch the puck. And the second goal was one Emery should stop. |

Flyers are capable of beating any team in this league when they play a complete team game. I wish all the non-believers who post nothing but negativity on here will just go cheer for a different team! - Cable2k

Didn't look like the Hawks are head and shoulders above the Flyers for the majority of that period. I give the Flyers the edge for that period. - MJL
Was waiting for you to quote that. Its a long game, and for the opening there, the Hawks were head and shoulders above.
No need to get your panties in a bunch, I'll let you know when I start burning a Flyer sweater. |

they are. they still look slow and scary in their own end against a team with the skill chicago has. amazing how many times they just can't find the handle on the puck and get it out. i really hope they improve in this area tonight or it's going to cost them. - hammarby31
Yeah they need to move the puck quickly with crisp, smart passes and not just blindly try to clear itup tthe boards when they get pressured. |

They weren't head and shoulders above. A poor decision by Brayden Schenn on a drop pass, in which he then compounded by staring at the puck in the defensive end, and not picking up Shaw. And a goal that should've been a routine save. Flyers carried the play for the majority of the period. Scored 2 goals and hit two posts. Flyers were the better team that period. Now they have to back it up.

Giroux should now be tied for 3 overall in scoring..
one point ahead of Okposo.
Seguin has scored a goal for Dallas.
The pace G has been on since the bad start is ridiculous. |

They're going to lose. CHI scored the first goal. You guys heard JJ. I guess nobody told Hartnell. Somebody text him. |

the slightest hesitation or missed pass/chip out very quickly turns into a scramble with a threat of a goal every time. they have to eliminate this. |

I hate Kane and am glad he is not a flyer
(I'd take Toews though, or Sharp back) |

Hartnell down! He probably just fell in the locker room. He's such a moron. He'll take a bunch of useless minors. Trading him is addition by subtraction. He's brain dead. |

poop for the opening few minutes. Tried playing too fancy, and not getting puck deep. Hawks dominated, and Flyers had trouble moving the puck. Emery let in a weak one on the 2nd.
The other 15 minutes, they dominated. Goalies look shaky. |
