Luke was also looking very good in transition tonight. - JAKEw1234
The D looks solid these last few games, like the pairs are really clicking together. It's a pleasure to watch. And even when they are making a mistake, which is inevitable, they are busting ass to recover. |

Meszaros is playing well. 21+ mins tonight and an assist. Bruins fans very happy with that trade. - PLindbergh31
Mez is a good complementary player with other good players on the ice. His crime here was he was paid like a better player than he really was. |

Strong game for Luke Schenn tonight. - MJL
Used his size well tonight. I was worried he may get out of position with a stupid hit, but he played very well. You need to be so positionally sound when playing a fast team like this. |

Alright you hooligans, I'm outta here for now. Talk again in the playoffs.
Cheer for the Coyotes. I wanna see a playoff game down there next month. |

Those kind of guys are worth their weight in gold. We saw the step back the Flyers took from losing a similar player in Carle. I would really like to retain MacDonald unless they have a different plan. They, clearly, need a player like him though.
I still can't believe Giroux played 27 minutes. Who does he think he is, Ryan Suter? - PhillySportsGuy
i do believe he needs to keep this up till the seasons end in order to make this hart talk realistic, but the dude refused to be denied these past few games. |

i know. and im not even a huge plus minus guy. all the talent in the world. but he is so far from crosby/giroux that it isnt even a debate anymore. - stayinthefnnet
All he wants to do is be a sniper and could give a frank about anyone or anything else. Wonder what a Richard he must be as a "leader" in the locker room.
Seriously, How many 10000x over would you rather have G on your team that that headache? |

When you watch how he is capable of playing, and how he makes the Flyers defense better. I wonder why it's said he's not worth 5M a year? - MJL
When I see $5M, I expect a little more offense, but I would definitely pay it. You can't let guys like that walk. Just overpay if you need to. |

Sure don't get wht Isles were happy to get rid of him, always liked him, has some smarts.
Sure glad Mez is gone, onlt one I don't care for now is Downie but I can live with him - flyerdude17
Downie didn't take a mindless penalty tonight, it's a small step for him. |

The injuries have hurt his defensive game, he's still pretty good offensively. |

G played 27 minutes tonight - JAKEw1234
As Tocchet guessed after the 2nd period, a maintenance day could be in G's future tomorrow. |

The Crosby hate will help. People want to find the anti-Crosby. Kind of like when people jumped on the Red Sox bandwagon.
I still don't think he's closed the gap enough to make it realistic. |

Are you saying this is not his final form?
I look into his beard and gaze into a black hole of defense. - feelingkettle
He will still evolve into an even better and more refined life form |

No doubt. He's just not a $4 million dollar player. That's not to say he's not a useful player. I'd have taken that money too if I were him. |

Speaking of Couturier's beard, it's kind of appropriate that the Flyers lead the league in gingers, no? |
