Cool video. Two things I miss from F1 of the past: sparks from the titanium skid plates and the wail from the V10 engines.
I don't hate the sound of the new engines, but they are too quiet. Would have to hear them in person to judge how I truly feel about them. - Chest Rockwell
They still sound great live. I've been to the Montreal F1 the past 2 years and it's always a great experience. It's tough to get the full picture of what's going on in the race though. |

I've been to Montreal as well. The new turbo engines just don't sound the same, even on TV. You know they are much quieter when you can hear the tires locking up under braking. |

Absolutely they're not the same, just saying that the sound is still impressive in person.
I went to the Monaco F1 in the late 90's. Now that sound, echoing all throughout the city's highrises, was epic. |

Do you need me to take somebody out for you? (Sorry, I'm drinking Irish whiskey and watching American Hustle)
The Austin GP looks like crazy good times. Definitely want to check that if I even get the opportunity. Best of luck with that. |

What if during all these years, the twins we're played wrong. They looked great together, but they are similar players. Even though Daniel has had a forty goal season, I've never felt he was a natural sniper. Maybe he was better than Henrik, but not a pure blooded goal scorer. Maybe if the Sedins were drafted to different teams, Daniel would have developed into more of a passing winger. Following your passer, digger, shooter plan, maybe the best option going forward is to permanently have them play on different lines. - bazz
I've been advocating a splitting of the twins for some time now. I think we use the formula that is working right now. shooter/ corner man, passer, corner man/ shooter ie:
Jensen, Hank, Burr (1st line)
Higgins, Matthias, Kassian(2nd Line)
Booth, Schroeder, Hansen (3rd line)
Sestito, Dalpe, Booth |

My biggest mistake was not paying attention to the first rounder I gave away earlier.
It was mine, Which will be super high. All the firts I got left are late rounders
But Ive learned, Nobodys fault but my own. Need to pay closer attention.
I just hope for a Pittsburgh rebuild, Not an Edmonton rebuild. |

As far as what #tanknation stands for, I would have had to assume the name basically summed it up. Going by the most common definition of having a team tank, you could forgive me for not realizing there was some sort of well reasoned ideology behind such a movement.
in any case regardless of position in the draft, i believe the Canucks should try and win every game to the best of their ability even if it results in a worse draft position. I don't want my team representing my homeland to roll over belly up. I won't cheer against them for a better draft position or be happy about them losing in a 'lost' season. I believe they have a chance, slim as it is to make the playoffs. I hope they fight to the last breath and the last second to score or win whatever the situation.
As a team and fans of that team, you don't earn respect by wanting a better draft position. |

Danny goes to the third line and we stop double shifting Booth. I had Booth double shifting in the earlier scenario (not by design). The fourth line spot should be occupied by archibald... for now. Booth goes to the fourth when Danny comes back. |

Any line with booth on it is pretty sad. Considering he's on the 3rd and 4th lines there, it's very sad. |
