Luke Schenn is playing better of late, and with more consistency. He's still getting 6th defenseman minutes. Would like to see him get increased playing time. - PLindbergh31
I see what you're getting at, but if he's playing well with those minutes, I'd keep giving him those minutes. The team is playing well overall and individually (another nice game from Downie) so no reason to toy with things. |

I have to say playing with AMac has prob done wonders. I must say MacD was a really good pick up. Guy is a good solid D man. |

hey Bill,
it seemed like Berube was juggling the lines a bit the last two games, to good effect
a purposeful move, or were they just scrambled coming off a PP/PK? - Marc D
There was definately a lot of mixed lines. I think a part of it was because Berube wanted Giroux out there.... just about all night...
It's almost like he is treating these games as playoff prep. |

IMO that was the best game they have played all year. Better team than the Pens, they let in two early goals, looked flat to start and third game in four days, but no they regrouped and won it. This is the Flyers team I want to see every game. Mac has been a great pickup and having a 4th line that can play helps. - LJF
IMO LA game was still better. |

AMac has played well. I have been impressed by what I have seen from him thus far. |

Love how Couturier stared him down after he shoved him to the ice. His confidence has to be at an all time high. To think he's this good defensively at such a young age is unreal. If he becomes a consistent 50+ point scorer, watch out. - PLindbergh31

Well Coburn-Timonen has got to be Number 1. Since Schenn is playing with MacDonald and MacDonald gets PP time, I would say they are number 2 unit, but since Schenn doesnt play PP then he plays fewer minutes. |

Does Couts get an A after Timonen hangs em up? Him or Coburn if I'm handing out the letters... |

A lot of deserving guys with more leadership experience might keep it from him.. Streit (former captain) Lecavalier (former captain).
Also there are guys just as deserving IMO in B.Schenn, M.Read, B.Coburn.
Since Giroux already has the Captaincy and Hartnell already has 1 A, I think the defense needs to be Rep'd. So either Streit or Coburn. IMO Streit with just because of his previous leadership and raport with Refs. |

Just bustin' balls after the rehash of the Couts draft in the other thread.
Now give me a brohug. Just keep your hands above the equator. |
