I'm curious if anyone else thinks kimmo isn't going to retire after this year? He really looks like he's having fun again and I'd say this is his best year in a long time. He clearly has some left in the tank. It philly does anything in the playoffs I definitely see him coming back again next year

Basically, there will be some criteria set forth for different categories (who knows, we may even create trophies...for instance, team with best chance to win now gets the Ed Snider award) as to the roster strength. It will take place as soon as we have enough people. It is open to all HB users. We currently only have 12 particpants, so we may go with just 20. Currently, we have:

I still think its 50/50. He can still clearly play, but I believe he had mentioned he wants time to spend with his family. So its a coin toss if you ask me.

But really, when you think about an NHL captain, Christian Ehrhoff just doesn't fit, to me. That Buffalo team is stockpiling picks, but at some point, they'll need someone to rally around as well as an identity.

I'm Excited to see what happens in Buffalo. I mean last year they get Ristolinen and Zadarov. They already have Myers.

Then they have thier top pick in this draft. They could turn that into NHL ready Prospects and a 2015 first. Plus they have a bunch of seconds, and Islanders first in either this year (top 10) or next year, (deep draft) plus another first from St. Louis in 2015, and another first this year if Miller resigns, or they make the conference finals..... I mean this team is going to be stacked if they hit on half the picks they are getting. They are doing the Edmonton rebuild in half the time, and hopefully better.
