Come on we have a 15 to 20 th D in the league and we still think it is top 10

19 goals and 3 goals... I was just stating that being one of the best in the NHL since the new year says a lot... especially on a team with out it's top 2 players.

Nyquist is awesome, end of story. Can he be consistently awesome at this level remains to be seen but he's certainly put everyone on notice (and will no longer be included in any Edler offers, if he ever was).

Eliot Friedman also said two days ago don't get too excited about the talent level out of the college leagues ,there is nothing that stands out.

I don't doubt it as there hasn't been much buzz about anyone. Last year Danny Dekeyser generated quite a bit of buzz before signing with Detroit.

I think Tanev is decent, he is something to build with, not build around. Imagine how good a D would be if he is your 5/6

I'd say what our team really is short of is a legit top Dman. Gillis sees to have moved towards trying to get 6 top 4 type D. We have a number of top 4 D but not really any first pairing guys. Hamhuis I would say is 1b. Hamhuis, Edler, Bieksa, Tanev would all play in the top 4 of most teams. None are a true #1 D though....

Dropped Coho out of my other pool a couple months ago. Started the season strong. But just hit a dead streak and I had no choice.
