I wholeheartedly agree. Although I am concious of that fact that it can be detrimental to introduce young players into a losing atmosphere, I don't think a dozen games would make any difference in that regard.
If we bring up Archibald and Grenier, who else do we have in Utica that's worth a look? - AlexF

Too bad Utica doesn't have a GM we could call up. |

Gives them a chance to experience the NHL pace. Like Jensen last year. See where they need work at the NHL level. Last year Jensen was not very good but as he was saying on the radio today he knew what to expect when he came up this year.... |

But we'll have Naslund as the GM this summer, everything is going to be fine now. |

You should be thrilled about that. Next year if we have another bad year he can strap on the blades and play with the other old farts on the team. |

Is it good or bad news for #tanknation that Daniel and Kes may be playing this weekend? |

Daniel good Kes Bad.
If Daniel comes back he will play his perimeter game again and the top line will get no goals .
Kes needs to stay healthy. Needs to sit so we can trade him Booth too. |

Alumni games bore the crap out of me.
Have we looked into firing ownership? |

I'm looking into the possibility of the Tabletop Group's former owners running the Vancouver Canucks in a straight swap of ownership. Also FA's wife requested the Canucks as part of the divorce settlement. I refuse to let that option die. |

Any word on whether the ex-wife has requested the Canucks due to a particular fetish or kink? |

I could see that turning out like the Charlie Sheen movie Hardball where the female dog owner wanted to liquidate. Or Slapshot. |

Could you imagine a second line for thenHawks

No one is showing the love for Gillis these days. He just got us our long awaited mythological 3 rd line center and a goalie prospect for a boat anchor contract that was touted unmovable.
Show me the love |

if the rumors are correct then it was Lou's agent and not Gillis that made that trade happen. Maybe we could hire Lou's agent to be out next GM. How bad can a player agent be as a GM...really. |

It was his agent , and if you as me that is very smart GMing. He got a third line center and a prospect goalie and didn't need to lift a finger - VANTEL
All in favor of our following Front office say I
Gillis- President
Lorne- VP
Pat Brisson- GM- VP
Gillman- AGM
Naslund- AGM player development
Trevor Linden AGM- Head Scout
Tortorella- Head Coach
Sullivan - Assist Coach
Mike Keenan- Head coach Comets

I was just throwing it out there , he is still a good effective player. I think he would be good for the twins if they are paired together again.
I was wondering about that also. If we took Leddy then another big trade could be made for a top 6 even if they had to use Higgins Hansen and Edler - VANTEL
heh...effective. he has 4 more goals then any one on the canucks.
But I do agree, I can't see him signing on the canucks.
Higgins I think they need to keep. That guys holding it all together right now. Also he can play multiple roles on a team. |

I see Iggy doing the job of Higgins by scoring twenty, Burrows by digging the pucks out and going to the front and Kassian by standing up for the twins when it gets rough.
Why wouldn't he sign here , top line with the twins and his best friend Kes would be gone |

The Boston Bruins are winning the Cup, no fence sitting for this guy, not that there's anything wrong with that. |
