Like JJ said, it might be more about Kane and keeping him happy. Kane and Kesler might become the new Carter and Richards.

Even if the Canucks win 10 straight which will never happen, they won't make the playoffs. What's the point of even thinking that's a possibility? It's okay.

At the end of the day what Jensen has shown the Canucks and fans is that we will embrace youth. Problem is, when's the last time we've had a coach who has done a good job with kids? Not Crow, definitely not AV and not Torts based on how he uses his 3rd and 4th lines.

No way Nazzy becomes GM without bringing his own coach. Can you imagine Nazzy playing for Torts? Maybe he'll become GM then hire Krueger by Skype.

There was a GM bought up Grabovski and gave Clarkson his money. Even got an extension for his efforts

I disagree. Not very often u can land a player of Keslers ilk without parting with a core player. If the hawks can land Kesler without losing Saad, it should be considered a steal

Next year freeze is coming fast . Selanne will retire this year . I am hoping DC had a very bad year like Burrows. If he plays the same next year I will drop him after 8 games . If he has another 20 + season it will be a steal? I am not going to make the playoffs this year so it is all about next year. Tank Nation

Agreed. It's funny, when I originally saw that deal the first thing that came to mind was MG should push to swap out Shaw for Saad, even if we had to add something.
