Well it could be one of those day to day aka week per week things.
I fully expected a callup. I mean you have to think, even if he's truly day to day, are they gonna roll Rosehill out there? - Giroux_Is_God
If its his 3rd concussion this season, I don't think he'll play again this season. We saw this happen to MAB and he hasn't been right for two years now.
I know everyone is different, but I just don't think its a smart idea to play him for a while even if his symptoms are gone. |

I was saying in order to sign both MacDonald and Timonen next year they would.
(And B. Schenn, 2 fourth liners, a backup goalie and gustafsson or other #7 Dman.) - FlyersSteve118
That really would depend on what MacDonald and Timonen would sign for obviously.

I missed it, how many games did Neal get for the stick to the face of that Detroit player?
It looks like Pitt even had a nice PP advantage over St Louis... - wolfhounds
Accounting error. NHL paid Neal $5000.
I think Elliot had a much better performance today than Miller did against the Flyers. |

Seems strange to call a guy up if Downie is only day to day. Flyers aren't exactly a pillar of honest injury reporting though. - PhillySportsGuy
Day to day is another way of saying they don't really know how long he is going to be out.

Neal was waiting for Pietrangelo be in a vulnerable position before engaging. I don't think it ever happened. |

Wait til the playoffs!!
Holmgren: "How bad is Downie, Doc?"
Doctor: "Geez Paul, the kids been decapitated!"
Holmgren at press conference moments later:
"Downie's day to day with a lower body injury, we'll re-evaluate tomorrow." |

Yeah, but just going on by their assumed market value. Did Ghost announce yet if he is going to finish out his college degree or try to play in the NHL yet? That would be nice for him to come over and make a big splash. |

Miller didn't have much of a chance on any of the goals except maybe Jake's, imo. |

If they still lose the game in regulation, I don't honestly care how many they get. |

The Jackets with an ugly loss to the Isles. They're starting to fade a little, and the Craps are getting warm. |

James Neal would have to wait for someone to be looking the other way. |

Thats a tough matchup for the Pens depleted defense. Pens could have done a better job going to the net. They were very much a one and done team today. Elliot made some great saves, but rebounds were there. |

They're not going to be able to afford to keep everyone, re-sign MacDonald in the 5M range, and re-sign Timonen to another 6M deal. Something is going to have to change if those numbers are what happens.

Is the pressure getting to the Jackets? Theres not a whole lot of playoff/big game experience on that club |

I didn't think he was great or bad. He was just fine. I thought Elliot was very good today.
Miller has been prone to over committing since joining the Blues. Ive seen it happen a number of times to him now. I felt he over committed on the Hartnell goal. Still a great play by the Flyers though. |

Wait until you see Hamonic's PP goal. Moses would have been proud of the way the Blue Jackets parted on that rush |

I actually thought starting Miller yesterday wasn't the right choice for the Blues because the Flyers have had decent success against him. But now that the Blues only won 1-0 today, they may have split the weekend games regardless. |

I was a little surprised too. You knew they'd go with the backup in one of those games. I thought they'd want their starter for the 'better' team. |
