Nice to see them doing something for Henrik, a great community member as well as a great hockey player. Currently sits in 128th (836 pts) in All-Time NHL scoring, 15 points shy of the great Ted Lindsay for 120th. With a new four year deal in hand I'd be surprised if he's not a 1000 point player by the time his deal is done.
As for the game, 6-1 Canucks with Kassian and Jensen both having great games, Hank with four assists.

If they didn't take ekblad I would shocked. They just gave up 8 goals to calgary for crying out loud their Defense is garbage.
Nurse and Ekblad sounds real good. |

The amount of blogs Cloutier wrote about how stacked they were in the future on D with Klefbom, Marincin, and co... 
But yeah I'd agree, you'd have to imagine Ekblad is their main option, even if they had the 1st overall. The parallel issue is that they still lack that big 1C and I don't think Nuge is ever going to be that guy due to his size. |
