So much for Torts saying that he doesn't wanna get in the way of offense. I agree he's gotta go. I don't mind a fiery coach but I don't like his actual preference of play, especially offensively. For (frank)s sake, if you're not an offensive coach then let them just do their thing.

Tort's recent press forays have all been focused on job saving. On team 1040 the other day all he spent a lot of time talking about injuries to top guys and lack of depth. Tonight's presser injuries to top players etc....

If FA wants to keep his brand equity he has to get rid of Torts, and bring in a new GM to save the value of the Canucks brand. You can sell hope and change. You can't sell torts and gillis coming back next year.

Edit: Spending 8-16mil on saving the brand equity of a 700+ million dollar corporation is well worth it. Keeping the two of them could devalue the franchise a lot.
