Not saying I wouldn't. Richards has been solid for the Kings, even this year in his "down year". I'd still do the trades in a heartbeat.
What I was saying is, that if the Kings decided that a long term, $5.7mm commitment to a third line center is too much for them and decide to use a CBO on Richards, I'd have interest, depending on cost and length of term - Jsaquella
Oh absolutely.
Try to move VL, go with Schenn on the wing with either Couts or Richie. |

Politics is the biggest sport in the world. - Flyersgod
The problem is that far too many view it as such, and feel that they have to "win".
Politics is the art of compromise and meeting in the middle for the betterment of all. Far too often, there's no middle. That's why I hate politics. Far too many conservatives proudly declaring themselves dittoheads and parroting the nonsense of Fox News and too many liberals pointing and laughing and ignoring real and serious issues with a potential welfare and or Nanny state.
Far too much extremism in American politics. It's a bloodsport and that is dangerous. |

Or simply plug Richards in on the third line to replace Downie |

Where would you play him? 4C?
I don't think he'd ever want to come back and play here anyway. - Feanor
Probably, not. But I'd definitely ask. |

He'd probably have no interest, and honestly, if Snider did order the trades, then he probably wouldn't agree to bringing him back anyhow.
I also think LA would rather try to deal him and get value, the did trade significant assets for him |

Or just say (frank) it. I wanna live the way people did on the Oregon Trail. Hell, I was able to kill like 1,200lbs worth of meat and never even got dysentery. |

Libertarians - jak521
They're usually worse than Republicans or Democrats, in terms of my way or the highway thinking.
They do have some good ideas, I'm all for personal freedoms. I just like knowing that my food & drugs are tested and the whole idea of having a highway system seems like a good one. |

I don't know... I'm pretty sure that same compartment is filled with ice and a six pack for the commute home from work, and that's just not good for anybody. |

Basically we need bits and pieces of all of their ideas. Theres a better chance that Fred Phelps will come back down to earth in a golden chariot driven by Freddy Mercury while singing Its Raining Men, and denouncing his religion. |

There are guys that would, but do you honestly think that the Tims and Sams are going to ask those questions? - tangent_man
i doubt it, but i don't know. he didn't give them the chance. the whole thing is stupid. richards just fuels the fire by avoiding. |

If they're going to move Schenn to Wing, why not do it now and keep Lecavalier? I'd rather have him at C then Richards. |

Then, if that's what they want, they should talk to Kopitar or Doughty.
I doubt all those Philadelphia based reporters (20 of them if reports are to be believed) were there to talk about how great Jonathan Quick is. - johndewar
why? is richards not an important part of the team? i don't see what the big deal is here. maybe they wanted to ask him about HIS season?
