They are also due for a loss here and there, and this might be a decent one to take before rolling with Toronto/NY. - flyer_nutter
yep, they're certainly not going to win every game the rest of the way.
I'd rather it be a road loss, though. |

I'm going to boo Justin Williams every time he has the puck because he used to be a Flyer and he isn't anymore.
I actually did once and got a lot of puzzled looks. - jmatchett383
I wil never boo him. He frequents my Ventnor Wawa in the summer. |

Yeah, well, I'll tell you what: That's all well and good to talk about, but scoring on Jonathan Quick is a hell of a lot harder than you typing what you just did - AllInForFlyers
It's a mindset. There's a mental side to to sports. If you are sitting on the bench praising the other team it kills the energy etc.
Quick isn't a backup, so I'm not worried. |

I think whats concerning is the possession rate for each team. Kings must have had the puck for at least 65% of ES time. Flyers need to handle their forecheck better and turn the tables here. - PhillySportsGuy
Pretty close, it's roughly 75-25/70-30 after the first:

Lets get some antiseptic on those scraped knees and elbows ya bandwagon jumpers. Don't worry, we will slow down when you want to jump back on. |

I could see 1 goal winning this game. Thats why Im happy Emery looks solid thus far. The idea of falling behind against this team is very unappealing. - PhillySportsGuy
It'll be tough, if we do.
The Kings give up very few quality chances. They don't give up much.
The reason they've lost the games they have is because they can't score worth a damn.
The Flyers just have to be patient and pop one -- and to be honest? It might not come until late.
When the Kings are locked in, it's just tough. |

Forget Patrick Sharp, to me, he's the one that got away. |

Philly fans boo too much, especially in borderline-booable situations.
It just lessens the overall impact of the boo, imo.

Ha! Actually, we don't want that -- Carter can throw 'em, both hands
He doesn't fight nearly as much, but he's a better fighter than Richards |

He never gets booed.
I think the fans boo richards and carter out of jealousy. They left and won a cup. I think if they were struggling and hadn't won, people wouldn't boo. |

You know, there is nothing like a good hockey game, but there is also nothing like being able to say "I told you so" on the interweebs.
Do like that "suck it haters" though, look for it after they score a goal. Makes me chuckle a bit. |
