I agree. Why put a player out on the ice who has scored 398 goals when you need a goal late in a game.

Vinny had a poor game tonight.....seemed to fight it all night....wasn't skating at all.

Flyers won that game 8-2. I think he was happy to miss that one.

I don't think he was great, but he didn't stand out as being particularly poor, in my opinion.

I agree. Im glad they didn't roll over and die though. I still feel good about the team moving forward. Nothing to be ashamed of. Kings are really good and the Flyers didn't match them until the third.

Sometimes, you just don't have it. I imagine this stretch has been taxing on them.

- PhillySportsGuy

they're not going to win every game, and the kings are a good team. not worried about them at all. just disappointing - especially with the push they had in the 3rd.

Vial of Snider's tears from watching him lift the cup as a Los Angeles King.

Tough game -- not gonna dwell on it.

Good night, folks!

I thought he was alright. He's been more physical lately. Puck was really bouncing all game for everyone.

They played clips of Endless Summer 2 before the game. He got teary eyed and then threw up all over his skates.

If I told you Saturday that they get 10 out of 12 points vs Pittsburgh, Chicago, Dallas, St Louis and LA, I think you'd be pretty happy. I know I would have been.

Rough go, Kings played great early, Flyers fought back. One defensive breakdown after they tied it...sucks, but they're on a damned good run here.

The whole Flyers team was outplayed top to bottom in the first two periods.

Kimmo tried to make a play at the blueline, and the puck didn't bounce their way. That's not going to happen very often. Lecavalier misses a wide open net. Even though they were largely outplayed, and shellacked in the 2nd period. They still had a chance to win the game.

Is he closer to a catalyst, or a (frank)ing black hole, in the shape of a man riding in a wheelchair.

(frank)ing wheels.

Yep. And despite the solid run of late, were losing ground in the playoff race. I hope to god they bring their a game on Wednesday or it could start to go south for us.

Yeah. Obviously, we'd all take it.

That last goal was annoying. I just wish they could have forced Voynov to shoot it. If he scored, I wouldn't be as upset about the loss. They gave Emery no shot on that play.

He has been poop for a long time, and is doing very little to contribute to that second line being effective 5 on 5, or on his 2nd PP unit.

He needs to be a catalyst, it cannot just be Giroux and for that contract, I expect more of out him.

ANyway rant done. Goodnight boys.
