Thank you. And it wouldn't even cost that much. Wouldn't matter what angle/rotation the puck is either. It's 2014 people.

I don't want stuff like this. It's bad enough with instant replay. It's like Baseball when they tried to have that strike zone thing. It didn't go in the net, I think that was pretty clear.

because of how much it irked the vast majority of the typical loathsome flyers fans that they did.
really. like someone on here touched on earlier, it shouldnt bother flyers fans. its not like they chose to leave. if they had, totally different story. but you should be happy for them. 2 pretty good players who so liked the team and franchise that they signed essentially lifetime commitments to remain there. team (wisely, as it turned out) decides to go in another direction, and its suddenly (frank) THEM! |

I really don't even want to get into it. But it's such a screwed up thing it's ridiculous. They were two players who gave their all for the team while they were hear. And from some, there was nothing but disrespect towards both players. Starting with all the BS about their off ice lives, that was so ridiculously blown out of proportion.
The Flyers made two good trades and that's life. I'm still a fan of both players, and was truly happy that they were vindicated in proving what kind of players they are, by skating the Cup. Too bad it couldn't have been in Philly. Didn't want them to be on the winning side tonight, but otherwise, have no ill will towards either player.

I can't speak for everyone, but a few things...
The way Carter handled the trade, and his subsequent behavior in Columbus has forever made him a little female dog in my book.
I think most fans still like Richards, for the most part, but that doesn't mean, at this point in time, we'd want to undo the trades.
The thing that I find ironic and annoying is the fact that quite a few players have been traded away to win cups with other teams while the Flyers haven't captured the prize in quite a while. |

well for starters, allow me the disclaimer that you (as well as pretty much everyone i get to talk to on here) doesnt really fit the mold whenever i reference the image of my discontent.
but yeah, those two trades were smart. its a business, and they were strokes of genius (and at least a little luck). but to hate them is just dumb. now if you booed them for certain reasons BEFORE they left, justified or not, i at least can see consistency. but to flip the switch just because they were traded (mightily against their wishes) is just dumb. if in a years time, the pens say alright malkin youre being moved for a ransom, i wont all of a sudden turn venomous towards him. |

i totally agree with this. i dont really like carter. i think its hilarious how much of a bro he is, but he will never be one of my favorites on or off the ice.
and i certainly wouldnt want to undo the trades if im a flyers fan. but, i dont see that fact as necessarily meaning the next progression is to boo him, or oh (frank) ritchie.
and that last part does suck, but i largely just think a lot has to do with coincidental landing spots. regardless, its not carter or ritchies fault.

I really don't like how Carter handled himself after his trade. That's why he is pretty high on that poop list
Richards- hey man I smiled when he got the Cup. Gags too, obviously. |
