He's been injured all year. Just took the knee brace off when he went to the Olympics. His play has been better, but he's still pretty banged up.

Just install a chip inside every NHL puck in the absolute center. Once it crosses the goal line it'll send a signal.

The future of replay review in the NHL could include high-speed cameras put in goal-posts and crossbars, according to Murphy, who said attempts to put a microchip in the puck to prove the certainty of goals have proven unsuccessful. Below-freezing temperatures aren’t ideal for that.

“Anything we’ve ever tested, that hasn’t worked,” Murphy said. “For whatever reason the dynamics of the puck, altering the state of the puck has been a problem. The players haven’t liked the way it’s performed.”

Murphy said the NHL also consulted with Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd., the company that does reviews for tennis and other sports, but didn’t feel it was right. Too many bodies and sticks in the way on an ice rink made for very different conditions than a tennis court.

So I was at the game last night with my brothers and I was reallllly disappointed with the booing of Richie and Carter. Got into it with a few different people about it.

Things I heard:
1- Carter didnt care.
2- Carter couldnt score.
3- Carter was cold 80% of the time and would score during his 20% hot streaks.
4- Richards should have never been named captain because he isnt a true leader.
5- Richards being named captain changed his career for the worse.
6- Both players put themselves above the team, and only cared about getting paid.

I hate that. Both players played well for the Flyers and got them to the finals. I mean Carter signed a freaking 11 year deal to stay in Philly. I named my (frank)ing dog Carter because I liked him and thought he would be a Flyer for a long time. Not his or Richard's fault at all.

Richards and Carter were the top point scorers for 3 seasons here. Show some respect for the work they did here.

Ugh only 3 points cushion for a playoff spot. 35 wins and the two wild card teams with 28. Stupid shootout.

That all depends what area of law you decide to enter. Hopefully you're not in law school for anything other than yourself. If you like analysis, debate, and the art of the argument, verbal or otherwise, you'll be fine. And I'm fairly certain the majority of lawyers are not actually doing a lot of public speaking.

I liked both players TBH, and was shocked to see them both traded. I personally liked Richards better than Carter and thought he was a very good lead by example captain. I was glad to see them win the cup in LA (and mostly because Hexy got his SC ring and his name on the cup). It'll be 10 years before we can determine who won those trades.
