I don't think it should be considered the weakest in years tbh. Look at where the Wings are and they were supposed to run rampant and go undefeated against the East. Just comparing it to the West who probably have the three best teams in the league atm will make the East look weaker, but the West isn't too hot to trot either. They could have 6 teams with 100 points, seem like the good just beat up on the weak over there.
