I've never seen him play, but the Habs haven't really been successful in acquiring NCAA UFA's over the years. At least this time they go for a big body.

I think the last ones were Yann Danis and Brock Trotter.

The fact that Sorkin couldn't get an ELC out of NHL teams says a lot. We never know, but I'm not expecting much.

Si on vous demande un jour ce que signifie 'lurette', n'hésitez surtout pas à répondre sans aucune crainte de paraître ridicule que vous ne savez pas.
En effet, personne ne le sait, puisque ce mot n'existe pas.
Et pourtant on l'utilise dans notre locution. Etonnant, non ?

L'expression telle que nous la connaissons aujourd'hui est attestée dès 1877.
Le pseudo-mot 'lurette' vient de la contraction de la fin de 'belle' avec le mot 'heurette' ou 'hurette', dans une expression qui est utilisée avec des petites variantes dans les dialectes de plusieurs régions : "il y a belle heurette".
Dans cette dernière, on trouve le diminutif '-ette' accolé à l'heure qui voudrait normalement dire "une petite heure"[1], sauf qu'elle est précédée de l'intensif "belle" qui donne au tout une échelle autrement plus vaste (comme dans "un sacré bout de temps", par exemple, où le "bout de temps" se trouve d'un coup sacrément démultiplié).
