Kessel's offensive output is high enough that he shouldn't be made to change his game to backcheck. It was tried with Ovechkin a few years back to disastrous results.

They simply need to get defenders that can actually defend.

The only way it gets any worse for us is if Toronto finally stops swirling around the toilet and finally goes does the drain.
