I said it back with Poulin and now I'll say it with Nilsson... Someone is teaching these guys to drop and take away the lower half of the net... Whoever it is needs to not only be fired but fin shot

At 6'5, why is Nilsson so badly out of position he's flopping around? His reflexes are sh1t as well. |

Im not sure if its all coaching with those two? With that said they dont look great but they're both still young. They definitely arent ready yet from what I'm seeing and may never be ready. I dont see much that leads me to believe otherwise. Leave them both with the tigers for a season. - Cptmjl
Give Patrick Roy 5 minutes with Poulin. |

His positioning is solid, he gets square to the shooter, but for some reason he drops every time, same thing that Poulin has been doing, they are being taught to drop, take away the bottom of the net and play the percentage that the puck is going low. it's as if their coach is a die hard Hasek fan and he's trying to teach them to play like him.

Howie rose;
"Wonder if Jack Capuano will think about using his time out soon like muller did earlier?" Um.... |

Nilsson seems slow as anything. Like he is playing with a busted leg. |

That's right. He is self taught. |

I can't believe how small he plays. He needs more time in the AHL. |

He's not being taught the proper mechanics. I honestly think with a proper coaching staff, Nilsson can be a solid goalie for this team. |

I'm sure Poulin was stretching the truth there. |

He looked like he had no idea he was over 6' tall. I swear it's like watchinga slower arturs irbe. I have no idea how he can possibly look small and slow. Garbage goaltending. This should be 5-0. |

Koskinen had the same problem except he looked like he couldn't even get the angles right. |

That is my argument- if you stand up and step out at his size, you block out the sun. Why make yourself half your size on purpose? |

Because in addition to playing on his a$$, he's also sitting inside the net, instead of 3 feet in front of it. |
