Well, that's the thing; he's not allowed to be unleashed. But he, to me, is a top-3 guy (Doughty, Suter, Weber).

As much as I hate Domi, I applaud him for that.

He's better than doughty defensively.

This sounds crazy, but the more I watch him play, the more I think he's actually underrated. He may never put up Erik Karlsson numbers, but my God he's flat-out amazing.

Just give me Folin, bring back Kimmo on an incentive loaded deal, reup AMac to something reasonable, and see how the kids are in camp. That would be a successful spring/summer to me.

I think being that the draft is in Philly, I see the Flyers making a splash. No way they just make their pick which will likely be in the 15-20 area.

Folin rates, at least from most of the college guys I follow, as a 4/5 guy. He's not going to replace Timonen. I doubt that Alt or Gostisbehere could, either.

He is, but the gap (which is slight) isn't enough to offset the rest of Doughty's skillset. I'm not saying it's a Crosby to Couturier comparison, but it's more than Bergeron to Couturier.

I'm going to go out on a limb right now, and say none of those players can replace Timonen. It would be great to add one to a lower pair. But none of them are going to be able to take on Timonen's role and responsibilities.
