I can understand Karrlsson and I agree with that one. But not over Peitrangelo. No way, not even close.

Why is it not even close? I think mcdonagh is better defensively and pietrangelo only has 7 more points than mcdonagh offensively.

I don't think McDonagh is better defensively. And player like Pietrangelo totally controls a game. McDonagh is very good, but he's a step below players like Pietrangelo.

If you want to compare offense, I'd like examine their past years if we're considering their bodies of work. Pietrangelo put up 43 points in his first full season and has never put up fewer than 40 (pro-rated last year). This is the first time that McDonagh has put up 40+ in his career.

Again, offense isn't everything. But as I said, Pietrangelo's defense is just as good as McDonagh's (negligible edge either way), and his all-around game is just better. And if you disagree, then it's just the Rangers goggles blinding you.
