He probably plays beautiful solos while driving his race car. Later, he gets all the women and another race car for free.
- BulliesPhan87

Sorry, but if you're in a band with John MacEnroe, there's no beautiful solos happening.

Just watch that last sequence with Giroux. Every single time he tried to pass or shoot he didn't have the right handle/control on the puck. Simple passes are difficult for them today. It's a combination of the Rangers just swarming, the crap ice @MSG and the Flyers in their own heads a little bit I think.
- Pixote Andolini

maybe. the rangers don't seem to have any trouble whatsoever making short or long passes and doing whatever they want. same ice for both teams.

i have no idea about being in their own heads. flyers could easily have 3 or 4 goals tonight, and don't. so maybe. it's possible to still pull this out, but hard to imagine the 3rd being any different than the first two.

cakewalk
A mixture of the expressions "a piece of cake" and "a walk in the park". Used to describe a task that is extremely, ridiculously friggin easy.
"Compared to the math class I had last semester, psych seminar should be a cakewalk."

- Pixote Andolini

At least I learned something tonight

The rangers checking has been very good and the timing their D has stepping up on the Flyers forwards nearly perfect. Frustrating to watch.

I know. Its been a rough night for everyone. Flyers can't complete 3 passes in a row tonight

They're trying to force the pretty play. The 4th line's the only one playing well and getting chances.

The first line seems content to stay in their own end.
- PT21

Back to back games where the top line has been bad.....trying to be too cute.....not sure why they have gone away from the physical play....but they have really wasted a real good streak with some lethargic play.
This team never makes it easy.

Honestly, Girardi and McDonagh have completely controlled this game for New York. I hate them.

Yeah they're really stepping up on the Flyers forwards making it super tough to cross the blue line with puck possession. Even G was stepped up on like twice.

I know. At some point, they need to move Raffl up and use him on the third line.

We look like we played a multiple OT game last night. No fight... Keep McGinn on the 3rd line, he deserves it over Raffl...

i don't think he's looked out of place. skating hard, pressuring the puck. low expectations anyway. the rest of the team needs to do a much better job, except mason, who's been very good. not his fault on either goal.
