Need to keep it simple. When they get a guy in front, he gets too close. The gaps are too big. Stop with the cutesy passing and put a low wrister on Lundqvist with some traffic in front.

i don't think he's looked out of place. skating hard, pressuring the puck. low expectations anyway. the rest of the team needs to do a much better job, except mason, who's been very good. not his fault on either goal.

He's just not skilled enough for that line. I was hoping for more from him. I was excited to see him get a chance, but it hasn't looked good. He;s played some good teams though. Maybe he just needs time to settle in.

Just wish they'd pour it on like they do when they play the Pens. They should have that same vigor against the Rangers.

Hope this isn't the "statement game" Simmonds was talking about.....if the Flyers make the playoffs these are the types of games were they have to push through.....tough schedule ahead to be playing like this.

Downie is the better player. I don't think there is any question. The problem with Downie is his undisciplined play.

When Hall has three of the best chances for your team it's a long night.

I think the home ice with the last change is a big deal in this series.

The Flyers have to get in their d and make it tough....easy game for the Rangers so far and that is on Philly.

Exactly, change it up a little. Put Couturier out with Read and Voracek for a shift and Schenn between Hartnell and Rinaldo. not much else iscworking, why not change things up for a few shifts?
