Four Mile Pub
Meatloaf
Four pints of Four Mile Pale Ale
Home right after the game to chat with Mrs. Lefty when she got home. - LeftCoaster
Hey, we had left-over meatloaf last night! Made burgers with it and washed it down with a Spanish Tempranillo.
You still have a chance to be a disgusting, drunken, flaccid mess this evening. Win or lose. |

Nice. 4 Mile is great. Consistent with some of those comfort food items.

Depending on the free agents available, nothing will surprise me. The problem with Torts being our coach is his reputation may not make it any easier attracting ufa's to Vancouver. - hillbillydeluxe
IMO they might as well keep him for his final year. He might actually try all season since he is in a contract year. Not a top 6 at this point in his career but at least he can be a serviceable utility forward. |

If the Canucks are unable to attract the free agents they covet with the cap increase there may enough cap space to keep him and still have plenty of room for any tdl acquisitions.
Booth has looked good in stretches on the third line (as long as you ignore his lack of scoring).
I would have thought he would put up around 15 goals for the season and at least 30pts (if he played a full season) but at least he has been hitting a bit and trying to contribute. I wonder if there is anyone who keeps track of goals contributed to his play for and against and what the numbers are? |

On the topic of Vancouver Island Pubs:
The first place that pops into my mind is the Sticky Wicket in Victoria, where my very hungry group enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal after a power outage finally came to an end following the 2008 Victoria Marathon.
But back to the point at hand. Canucks win! Big game tonight. Here's the new blog:
