Watched the hit and the explanation. Looks like it was considered a body check at initial contact and therefore is ruled to be a clean hit with incidental head contact. Basically the principal point of contact is the key.

Not to be a whiny Canuck fan, but being a whiny Canuck fan, I wonder what Kassian or even Edler would have gotten for that.

Florida Panthers ticket prices for tonight's game. Apparently bringing back Lu was a real hit.

A buddy of mine went to the Canucks/Yotes game the other week in the desert - $40 gets the equivalent of a club seat and 1 beer per period.

Second that. One more on the list of reasons to fire him.

Hilarious how Jensen is on the 4th. Might as well send him down if you're gonna demote him so quickly despite him being one of the biggest reasons why they even have something to play for. I can understanding demoting him for a shift or 2 during a game if he makes a bad defensive play, but for a team that desperately lacks offense to have him start on the 4th makes no sense.

Given the possibility of more young guys on the team next year, don't want Torts using his fine motivational skills on these guys.

Have to say I'm impressed how Lack has handled the work load thus far. I believe this is his 15th consecutive start (correct me if I'm wrong please) and it's his first year with the big club coming off a season where he had hip surgery.

He's at 9 games so it's decision time for management.

He's been pretty average since taking over though IMO.

Jensen? He's in the AHL/NHL so he burns a year off his contract no matter what. It'll be different next year with Horvat.

Apparently Gaunce will be given a legit shot to win the 3LC spot next year, wouldn't surprise me to see Horvat sent down to London again.

Agreed, but I can live with the growing pains. Going from backup to starter in this market especially has to be pretty impactful on any goalie.

I thought nine games only matters with players who are junior eligible. I think sending him down will disgust fans. Rightly or wrongly, Jensen is credited with bringing back some interest in the team and helping to wake up Hendrik and Burrows. Motivate the kid, give him an opportunity to keep succeeding.

Does anyone know if Shinkaruk has another year of junior eligibility next year?

Yes, it would be his overage season though. I think he starts in the AHL.

Melatonin and muscle relaxants should help her out.
